did you guys put the silencers on and did it reduce the noise level at all????

i have one. but i hardly ever use the silencer. the only time i think about it is on long trips. yea its loud without it, but its not so loud that people turn around in horror every time i drive by. i've tried accelerating pretty hard passed older people to see if i got a reaction and most time nothing happens at all. sounds damn good to me. but if you dont like the noise the silencer makes it so quite it sounds a little louder than stock.

yes, the silencer puts it about a little louder than stock. so, it works good, good thing, cuz in the summer with the windows down,the n1 starts to get on your nerves.

Hey with the silencer on the N1 does it close up the exhaut completely except fot one little hole, cuz the silencer on my muffler has one hole and then two half ying yang type openings on either side of it that I can open and close. Right now I have all of them open, and its loud as hell, and was wondering how your silencers were made.

it leaves one hole in the middle of the muff. its either in or out. it closes off about 50% of the original size. also likely that it cut out some hp. scc had one on there project si. it had a supercharger and someother stuff on it, made 200 hp to the wheels and the silencer knocked off about 8 hp. i bet it would be less if you werent making that kind of power. but for you turbo people its going to slow you down some.

it makes it hella lower and shoots out a wicked beam of exaust .. u can feel it like 20 feet away from the car .. i personally like the growl though at around 3000 rpms without the baffle .....
