So belt started walking off lately and realized I'm missing the bottom bolt that holds the pump to the bracket ( on the lower left side) just wondering what size bolt I would need to get to put it back in there so my pump is aligned right and doesn't walk off anymore. Did some searches and came up with nothing. Maybe I'm lazy or blind, but i need to find out. It's bugging me. Thanks!

I think it's an 8mm diameter bolt 1mm thread pitch, don't remember the length though. home depot or lowes should have a metric section that you might find it in. (Lowes has better metric selection)

Ah, the mystery bolt. I jsut drive those down to the Ace Hardware by the house, grab a few "maybes", leave $5 at the cashier and take 'em out & try them on. Then I go pay for the one I needed. I always restock the ones I didn't need too. Keeps them happy. Oh yeah, they carry automotive grade there.

Awesome Thanks Guys plus I'm just thinking about taking the pump out and re-tapping the threads on it so they stay nice and snug cause one of em is stripped and doesn't even tighten all the way (the one on the right side). Think this is a good idea? or No? Thanks again though I appreciate it! emoji

that should work fine, since the retapped threads aren't as good as originals use a little blue loctite to hold things together and don't torque it as tight.

Thanks Man! Its not an 8mm though tried it and its too small. i'll just have to pull it out and get the damn thing off instead of guessing, i was just trying to save myself some time so i don't screw anything up when i pull it out and put it back in... lol

So the bolt is a 10mm 1.0 that came out the opposite side directly across from it. and that doesn't even fit into the opposite side well enough i have to just tap it. Does the hole for those two bolts go all the way through?? just curious. And also my friend just bought a car at a junk yard and popped the truck and found a key of coke in it inside a bowling bag emoji Seriously....
