#123313, "anyone got their ECU reflashed?"

just wondering if anyone managed to get their ECU reflashed by the dealer and if they charged you. my CEL still bothers me and it's only on b/c of the stupid secondary air crap. is there anywhere to get this done besides the dealer? i went once and they wanted to charge me a $100 diagnostic fee and said i hafta leave the car. fuckers. maybe i'll try walking in with just the ECU next time.

that's what i said. i think it falls under TSB not a recall though. tsb's aren't covered by the dealer, right? it kinda sucks too b/c my old ecu died (that one wasn't flashed correctly) and the replacement (used) one i got was the same way. boo. seriously how hard can it be? it prolly takes them like a couple minutes to do. i wish it was something you could do yourself. i've reflashed my RAZR several times already to update firmware emoji

I'm going to try my local dealer and see what they say...

You sir have the best looking car on the board. Un-pimped, un-cladded, un-cluttered - just the simple pure form of the car's design. VERY well done.

I had my 1995 ECU reflashed because they didn't do the recall properly. They made me pay $100 for the "diagnosis", the flash was "free", and then I had to pay $12 for this sticker:

Assfuckers.
