I've been thinking about creating this thread for a while now. My idea is to make a list of all the oem parts that can be swapped onto a 2gnt either for an upgrade or as a way to save some cash on replacements. I've only had my car for a short time but I've learned a thing or two on the site. please add whatever you can and maybe a reason for it. correct me on any I might be mistaken on...

1. 60mm Jeep TB-
2. Neon tranny (sohc\dohc)for the different gears
3. Neon aftermarket cam gears- I think they use the same part # anyways
4. gsx brakes
5.

Doh! Scratch that alternator. I guess they're rated the same as the US version.

But the GST catback is also good for keeping things a bit quieter if you have no cat(like me). They have an extra resonator. The muffler does flow more and look a little cooler with the dual tip.

14. Take off belt tensioner if it brakes and use the ps pump as your new tensioner. Measure distance around pulleys with a string for the correct size belt.

i dont know about the honda oil cap...Even if its just an oil cap its still from a honda....but wait does it add horsepower???I heard like 5 whp and its light weight!...jk good to know if i ever loose mine.

I think he is saying that aftermarket oil caps made for a Honda (i.e. Greddy ect.) will fit our cars, making for many options. Is that true, do those caps fit?

I'll give it one more bump and then let it die. I think there is a lot of good information on here. I also think that there are a lot of other things that are missing that I don't know about.

1. 60mm Jeep TB-is actually smaller unless you remove the taper which is 58mm
2. Neon tranny (sohc\dohc)for the different gears
3. Neon aftermarket cam gears
4. gsx brakes<--be sure to use the brackets and screw type oil line fitting instead of flare
5. Ford Motorsports Injectors - high imp which is what we need
6. PT Cruiser Modular Clutch
7. 3000gt big brake conversion -<--get the brackets
8. PT Cruiser lifters and rockers<--only if you have other valvetrain upgrades

HOLD THE PHONE.. you need alot more then the brake booster from an anti lock car to give your car anti-lock.. unless there is another reason for doing this swap..?

Lot of good that'll do when we've got a ~57mm opening on the intake manifold. I'm not sure the ID of the plenum is even 90mm.

i've got an obx manifold and i had to take a big chunk out of it but it fits. now all i have to do is wire it up but that will be next month when i get the motor put back together from the build up.
