What's up to everyone who may read this. I've been coming here off and on over the past year and have found great advice here, so I turn to you guys for any advice or help you can offer. It seems like every time I come here someone new has gone turbo. Seems like a lot from the selection of posts I've read. So before I dive into my own, I'm looking for opinions, advice. What I need, and the such.
I want to go turbo! I have a 1997 RS. I want to build a solid motor before I go boosting, but have no clue what all needs to be done inside. There's a motor shop close so I plan to have them do the work. I am about to purchase a 98 motor with 65,000 miles. Before I let this man have all my green, I'd like to have a clue what’s going to be done. What all should I have to do internally for a turbo kit?
As far as Turbo kits themselves. Is the Hahn kit really decent? 3 grand isn't something I want to waste. So any of you with this kit, please tell me what's up! What all didn't you use in the kit, as far as replaced one thing for something better.
Other accessories I will need engine wise, turbo or whatever.
I'd rather trust someone who’s done this over someone who thinks they know how to do this. This is why this board is awesome! I appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks!

The Hahn kit is the best one out there. he only thing that some of us change is the fuel pressure regulator. I havent chanmged mine yet but I will one day. The one it comes with is a little inconsistent for some people.
