Okay, I am just beginning to drive my car again after the motor swap and timing ordeal. I am noticing that the engine stalls whenever i make hard turns....more specifically...right turns. I have no idea what to check first. I know my belt is too tight because i can hear it squealing but it does not get louder with the A/C on or when I'm turning as loose belts do. Would this have any effect on it? Thanx in advance.

Let me guess, you can coast around the corner, but if you give it gas too soon, it will die completely, right? Here's the first thing you do when that happens.
Find your CMP (CaM Position sensor) and follow the wire harness back towards the firewall. You'll notice the little metal pipe running right next to that harness. That's the imfamous EGR tube/pipe. It has exhaust flowing through it and gets pretty damn hot. Hot enough to, say, melt through wire insulation that might be touching it. When that happens, the signals to/from the ECU short out. The instant the ECU loses either CMP or CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) signal, it activates the ASD (Auto Shut Down) relay and kills the motor in order to save it. (Even our stupid ECU knows it's an interference engine!)
Basically, this happens all the time. Follow that harness all the way to the alternator if you have to. Chances are there's a short somewhere and it's got something to do with that EGR pipe.
Good call on the oil gauge, though, Kain. Starvation can become an issue under high load right turns, although it would have to be one hell of a long, tight right-hander to starve the engine sufficiently to sieze it up, imo.

The Omega Turn.
Thanks for clearing that up or atleast helping out. My friend had some wires fall down onto the egr tube and needless to say those are toast. Let us know if you fix it.

well i found out theres definetly a short somewhere but I've looked for about 3 hours and i cannot find anything out of the ordinary. I've checked by the cam sensor and it went into a wire loom which was not melted at all. I am however burning up the wires to my battery....the three white ones are showing the most wear. Should i look under the engine?? I've jiggled every wire in sight with the engine on to see if i can stall the engine that way, but nothing is working...I'm stumped.

Guess where those go. Your ECU. You might consider cutting the corroded ends off and connecting them to a new positive battery terminal. One of those fancy gold plated jobs with the nice set screw clamps shouldn't be more than $20. The regular lead ones are usually only $5.
You've got electrical problems and you've found an issue with your electrical system. Might as well give it a shot, right?

well I found the problem. It's something i never would have guessed if i hadn't have glanced up while i was replacing the battery terminals. I saw this huge hole in my hood support that was created by the positive battery terminal touching it. If anyone ever changes their battery, and the experiance these symptoms (sp?). check the hood as this is what my problem was. Thanks everybody for the help!!!
