Hi,I just came in from trying to install my walbroo 255lph pump,and on the feed line when i tried to losen the line up,it was trying to bend/kink it did a little but not enough to hurt anything i dont think,i really hope not,what can i do to solve this?I was using a line wrench and trying to hold it so it wouldnt bend.Anyone else had this problem?this worries me,how would i know if i wasnt getting enough fuel and it was running lean?

would it throw a CEL or run poorly if it was running lean? i dont think it kinked it alot,maybe i can get it out tommorrow with more daylight and straighten it back or buy the bracket,anyone have any ideas?

well i had to take the line lose from under the car then snake it out of the top. it has been awhile since i did that. but think thats what i had to do.

right now im not concerned on how to get it out,rather on if my engine is at risk.

I'm kind of confused with what you are saying, did you bend/kink that hardline right there? If it didn't bend at all you're fine, but if it did bend it will for sure affect the flow of the fuel and it possibly could have cracked the line as well. If you haven't already, disconnect the feed line from the fuel filter and snake it up through the bottom of the car that way. ALSO, IMPORTANT!!!!...... when reinstalling the filter assembly, do NOT over tighten the six nuts that hold the filter assembly in!!! If you do (like I did), you WILL snap off the studs and you WILL need to replace the entire fuel tank, not fun. Just some advice, hope it helps!

yes i bent the line some,i hope its not enough to run dangerously lean,i didnt tighten them down to hard just snug and a turn past i checked for leaks it was good

Well why don't you hook everything up, and then hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the end of the fuel rail for a moment to see if it affecting your fuel pressure or not.

everything is hooked up but i dont have access to a fp gauge and i dont know what fp is supposed to be at anyways
