I just bought this car today, the damn car has an idling problem, can someone please tell me how to adjust the idle on this car, it idles at 2000, and in neutral the thing goes wacko

Idle Air Control motor. It's in the throttle body. the idle gets a little bit off when it starts to go. There's no way to adjust the idle on a 2gnt, btw

Actually, there is, it does have a set screw, but there's a cap covering it and is not recommended for setting the idle.

its attached on the backside of your throttle body via two screws. You'll need to use a star type allen wrench to loosen the screws, and free the idle air control motor (IAC). here...

Its called Torx.

It could also be a large vacuum leak which may be a free fix so check for all possible leaks first.

well since im low on cash, i asked my friend and he said if you soak the IACV in Alcohol it will clean it, if that doesnt work, ill replace it... then do hoses, thanks for the help guys!
