#121220, "Worth it?"

http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/car/209618568.html

I am thinking about buying this car. I haven't gone to check it out yet, but i was wondering what yall thought about it.

My plans, if i went through this and bought the car, would be to purchase another type rs/gs engine from a salvage yard.

Lmk what yall think i should do/what yall would do.

I wouldn't give him $800, I'd offer $400 and see where it goes.

I have a bunch of extra parts layin around from mine if you decide to pick this up.

Do you have a trailer to load it up on?

Well it depends what you're going to do with this car. I would probably tear the motor out and rebuild it bottom up, forged bottom end, then just take the head to a machine shop and have them flatten it, maybe port and polish it, get some new valves and you'll be good to go.

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to just drive it, buy a used head and slap it on there with some new timing components & water pump. Then, save up and build another block to drop in.
