I'm currently looking for a new transmission, for obvious reasons. After getting under the car for the first time in the light, I found out that I also managed to completely break the axles where they connect at the outer CV joint. So hard in fact that the metal rings that hold the boots on spun off and were bothing hanging right next to the hubs on each side. I checked www.driveshaftshop.com but could find nothing for 2gnts. They had Neon stuff, but as I recall they wont work. I remember someone listing they had upgraded axles. I think it was the guy who bought Guy's engine. If anyone knows where to find stronger replacements, lemme know.

Which explains why I made a deal with Guy to buy some of the parts and then he dissapeared and never mentioned a thing to me even after I bugged him for an address to send money to. I understand he was in a rush out and its cool he sold the whole car as that helps him out. I just he would at least have let me know. I find waiting around trying to figure out what other people are doing to be highly annoying. I am glad to at least know now I will not be getting the parts he said he would sell me.
Good luck with his car. It is almost my exact twin.

Yes, I bought the whole thing. Sorry 'bout the mix-up with parts, but I posted a couple of times about having his car and having parts for sale. He was supposed to send me a list of people requesting parts but never did (He was just a little busy). What were you looking for? I might still have it. Everything except the driveline is/was for sale.

Hrmm. I guess I have been hiding in a cave. I see where you said this now and in fact set up a web site to list parts. The only parts I wanted you are keeping.
I spoke to him about:
Axles Big Brakes Door caps
Everything else between your car and mine is ridiculously similar. Guy and I used to make jokes about that considering we knew each other when our cars were stock. I met him in person a few years ago.
