I recently bought a 95 Talon Esi with no motor, I installed a motor but I have nothing when I turn the Key - no ACC or anything..
Lights, hazards horn all work etc. - all that is not related to igntion switch. Battery is good, grounds are good.
Question I have, The car abviously had an alarm hooked up, but was hacked out before I bought it. Few things were un hooked, but I put it all back properly.
- I only have 5.9 - 6 volts to the Igniton wire (white 10 gauge) to the Ignition switch, Is this not supposed to be 12V? If someone could clarify that than I will trace the wire down and find out where it is dropping voltage.

Fixed The problem, The ignition switch wire +12v (white 10guage)under the L/F fender harness had a small pinhole. Moisture had corroded a small part of the wire which was dropping about 6 volts on the switch side, reason I was only recieving 6 volts to the ignition switch. Fixed the wire problem solved.... thanks for confirming 12 volts even though I should have known that in the first place!!
