I had to replace my heater hoses today and when putting everything back I could not figure out where this plug connected to. Could you guys help me out. The wires are red and a black and the plug is located on the drivers side of the car behind the windshield washer fluid. Thanks -Todd

The only things over there that I can think of which have a connector on them are the VSS, washer fluid level and pump (but those are a different type of connector), and maybe the brake fluid level sensor (if there is such a thing - it's got a dummy light, right?).
I can't say, off hand, what that goes to, but I do recall remembering other posts where someone was asking where some phantom connector like that went. Does it look like it's been plugged in recently? Does the car run with it disconnected like that?

The brake fluid plug is plugged in and so is the washer fluid plug. I havent started the car yet to see if it runs funny because I havent put the battery and stuff back in just in case I had to remove that stuff to plug the plug in. -Todd

You think? I mean, he didn't confirm the pump was connected, but I'm thinking the connectors on the reservoir are the flat-style with the tab that slides into the slot on one edge. Could be that my car is different, but I'm fairly certain they have a putty-like grease on the connectors to the reservoir.
Todd, did you verify the washer fluid pump is connected? It's down at the bottom of the tank. You might have to yank it to get easy access.
