Hey, I just found a vacuum line broken in my 2gnt and i'm assuming that that's what has been causing my idle/driving problems. only problem is, i can't figure out where its supposed to be connected. can somebody let me know where this thing goes to? thanks.

It runs to your EVAP system. There's a hardline near the PS pump the rubber line connects to, run a new line from the manifold to that point.

The EVAP is located in the front passenger side, and there is a hardline near the power steering pump that the vac tube plugs into..just look around the PS pump, and you will find it.

Why does it matter? Replace the line.
For the record, it runs to a solinoid in the passenger side wheel well.

it matters because i don't know where to attach the line when i get the new one. i just have the broken line shown in the last picture and i don't know where it is supposed to be

No, the vac line that is busted attaches to the hard line that attaches to the solenoid. So it's not that important on where the hard line goes. Just run a new vac line from the mani to the hard line.

the line that is broken in the thinner one that connects right by the ps pump and then runs down below the car, not the one that goes to the intake manifold.

That is exactly what they are saying. There is rubber from the manifold to a hard line. Then rubber line that connects that same hard line to another one right next to the ps pump. That hardline then goes down and attaches the EVAP solenoid located in the passenger wheel well. Just make sure all connections are made and you are fine.
