Hey guys, so Iv been looking for an Eclipse, and I found a really good deal in Sacramento CA, problem is I live in Tampa Florida. I could get the car shipped here for about $1000...But I need to know if its a good buy or not.
Does anyone live in the area, and would you be willing to check out the car for me and let me know how it is? I will pay the person $50 via paypal if they can do a good check for me, and its worth purchasing.

You might be able to get someone at MS Recycling to look at it. They're a junkyard, but they know more about broken DSMs than probably anyone else in Sacramento. http://www.msrecycling.com/map.htm
I'd also recommend Diamond Star Specialties, and Road Race Engineering to do inspections, but they're located much farther South in CA.
As far as trusting an individual to test out a car, not an approach I would use. I always have a shop look over my potential purchases.

what is a good deal? i am selling my 10sec 2gnt for 8g's OBO, 10sec would be alot easier in florida than here as well.
