First off I would like to give you an idea of my problem.
DRIVERS SIDE TAILLIGHT: parking light works, brake lamp works, turn signal works.
PASSENGERS SIDE TAILLIGHT: parking light works, brake lamp does not work, turn signal does not work.
Attempts made to correct the problem. 1. replaced bulbs 2. replace taillight bulb sockets and the harness 3. replaced the interior harness side connector of the taillight wiring harness. 4. replaced the stop lamp relay. 5. replaced the fuse. 6. traced the taillight wiring from the taillight all the way to the fuse box, pulled up carpet and everything looking for a visible grounding or short in the wire. nothing!
Hey guys, I'm sorry to ask for help but i have exhausted the resources i have and i was hoping to find someone who has experienced a similar problem before and found a solution.

You've been pretty thorough. If markers are working, your ground is fine in the harness, b/c both the night markers and brakes use that black wire for ground. First think I would have checked is the gray/blue wire getting 12V when you hit the brakes (or intermittently if you have the right signal on)- that way I know if it's the wire before the harness, or the harness/taillight. The gray/blue is used for both brakes and signal. Another thing I'm thinking of is to check if the gray/blue has continuity with ground, to see if there's a short first (before ripping up the carpet and checking for shorts).
I wonder if the blinker box could do such a thing - but I've never messed with that before (azdave is the expert on that, he has even modified his)

Thanks alot for the reply. Hopefully AZDAVE will chime in with his $.02 as well. I will check the green/grey wire tonight when i get home and let you know what it reads.
