Okay I have changed every sensor on the damn car. Just changed the crank angle sensor.... Still getting a p1390 (timing belt skipped a tooth or more) code. How? How do I fix it? Is this a prob? Im totally frustrated considering all my research has told me to change the crank angle sensor so i did ($80) and Im still proppin that code. Does the timing belt just "slip"???? If it does how do I fix it??? I havent driven it around to see if it still sputters......HELP

i dont know what the code actualy means but if you wher told that it means that your timing skiped the best thing to do would be check the marks and make sure they line up. It is posible for your timing to skip and if it did you probabley have a bad tentioner.the best way to fix that would be replace the tentioner and timing belt

Ive checked the timing marks on the cam gear and they seem to be fine, I havent checked the crank timing marks. This car is starting to piss me off. Can I adjust/check the tensioner w/o jacking the motor up?
