I have a 99 Eclipse GS. It's coming very close on it's 30k tune-up. I have a short ram intake and a cat-back system on it. Does this void my warranty that I have on this car? Or do I just play it safe and put the stock intake housing back on the car and swap them out when I am done.

I think it really depends on the dealer. The guys at my dealer don't care about my mods at all and I've had plenty of warranty work done. Regular service on the car such as the 30,000 mile service you are talking about isn't covered by the warranty, you'll have to pay for the service. Since you aren't having something replaced due to a malfunction, they can't say your mods caused the problem. I would just leave them on for a maintenance service.

Wow, am I the only one who doesn't put any miles on his/her car anymore? I've got a 98, I bought it new and I've had it for 2 years and 3 months, and it's got 23,500 on it.
the first year I put about 15 K on it, the past 15 months only 8 K

I bought my first 95 Eagle Talon ESi on Oct4th of 94. I had it until June of 95 and I put 9,000 miles on it. That was in 9 months. It had defective paint so they gave me a brand new one(under a silent warranty) (cost $7.50 to change the title)in June of 95. I have had it on a few trips from St. Louis to Kokomo,Indiana (above Indy) and to Chicago a few times and Bristol, Tennesse. I drive it daily and have a total of 45,600 mile on it. I love my car.
