Well this is odd, i had the codes for my car scaned and found that the tps is messed up, so i buy a new one from the dealer (cause it is the only place in town that had on in stock).
Anyway i get the new one on there and it idels high right off of the bat, so i take it back off and compare the two. And the lines on them don't face the same way.(the ones on the stock one is at the 3 and 9oclock postition and the one on the new one is at the 12 and 6oclock postition) i tried to turn it so it lines up but it does not turn close enough
sorry i am probly explaining this worng but hopefully someone will under stand what i mean

this is what it looks like if you are looking on the inside of the tps sensor. The stock one is lined up right but the other one will not turn (clockwise or counter clockwise) far enough so that it will line like the stock one

Its normal for them to be off a tiny bit but thats way off. Take your old one to the dealer to show them. I wish i had a spare for ya.....Eric got my last one.

ok this is really getting old now after them ordering the same sensor 3 times then they tell me there is a recall and this is why the sensor is wrong and that i need the whole tb. Well i agree cause the said they would charge me the same price as the sensor so they just deducted the money for the tb.
Well i got it and it does the same thing it doesn't seem like it works, the car will rev up to 5k and i kill it before it breaks anything. So i just returned it and got one from the junk yard only this time it revs up to 3k and stays there.
i am really lost now
