what would it sound like? i just wanted to mess around for a day while my gf is outta town. would it be muscle car loud? or what? i already get THE WORST mileage, i run completely rich with my bad o2 sensors, so this wont change much. also, how do you do it? are there bolts after or before the manifold? just bolts? or is it welded? forget it if its welded

I took the axle back part of my exhaust and ran around my parents neighborhood for a while and it was LOUD AS HELL!! It sounded cool though, like a racecar. It gurgled and popped, gave me goosebumps, it was a definite power increase though and some of my bottom end was gone, but other than that and the loudness it was cool

I blew my stock DP off with my turbo... sounded like shit, like an old model T ford. Also it threw a CEL- running too lean. Barely limped home cause it would stall if I went over 10% throttle or so. Anyways, you'll sound worse than a Honda.

Be careful if you do it, if you plan on leaving it off you have to go to a muffler shop and get a turn down pipe made to shoot all the hot air towards the ground. If not you will melt all you fuel pump hosing and it won't be cheap to fix. I had a friend that did it, although he did go a couple thousand miles he melted all of his shit up. It did sound good but he told me no difference was really felt. Should have no problems with it if your only going to do it for a few days.
