After the rebuild on my motor, I had no leaks for a coulple of miles. After I installed my turbo I have been gettin an oil leak that comes down the block on the drivers side, right by the block/tranny plate. it leaks down. I have smoked tested it, and no leaks down there. I would like any other ideas to find out where exactly the leak is coming from. Its a pretty bad leak. I have retorqued the head. I am gonna pull the oil sender out tomorrow and see if it might be a possible leak there. If its the rear main why would it come out by the starte plate, and not the bottom removable cover? well thanks guys any help will be appreciated.

You might try cleaning everything spotless and putting the car up on jackstands. Let the engine idle until it gets up to temperature and rev it up to 3000 RPM. Hold it at 3000 RPM for a full minute or until you get a drip forming somewhere on the engine. This was the only way I could diagnose a small leak on one of my turbo lines. If I drove the car, it would get blown around by the wind until it covered everything. If I let the car idle, it would not build enough pressure to leak. Reving the engine up will raise the oil pressure up considerably.

Its not from the valve cover. I checked that. Im using arp hardware and a cometic, all torqued to 70ft/lbs. The head is not warped. How often do peoples oil sender leak?
