well i sheared a bolt on the timing belt tensioner lost tension and most likely bent some valves so im just preparing to see how much i have to pay. anyway im just swapping on a new head that was just machined and assembled 20k miles ago and im looking now for a new head gasket found this on ebay has anyone used this one before?

I think it cost me about $350 to have my head rebuilt. It munched 10 valves when the t-belt popped. I would go to O'Reilly's and get the head gasket set. It came with all the gaskets for the intake, exhaust, head, valve stem seals, throttle body, cam seals, etc. It was worth the $90. Had I purchased it sooner, it would have saved me $20 on the head rebuild because they had to purchase valve stem seals at the shop.
Total it cost me about $700 for a timing belt kit, head gasket kit, rebuild, head bolts, and some other stuff.

Yeah, I would recommend the $90 for the kit from Advance/O'Rielly. I bought it for mine, and it comes with everything. I actually didn't use the valve stems seals. I still have them in a box.

I really wouldn't trust things from ebay. I really dont care what their feedback is. I can't remember if it was I.T. or SCC but they had an article about knock-off parts and that kinda shook any possibility of me going on ebay. I'd rather pay full price for an authentic product once than pay double for that and a knockoff that's probably unsafe.
SBR has a gasket set for 150 bucks made by topline i think. I was going to get that but if o' riley or advanced auto can get me the complete engine gasket kit for $90, i'm down. I'm ripping my engine apart in about two weeks so i can clear up all the nasty oil leaks and actually drive it daily with peace of mind.
While we're on the topic of gaskets, what's the deal with those copper jawns? Might be using one for piecing up my real motor....haha.

never had any issues with any felpro stuff here, with the exception of exhaust manifold to downpipe gaskets, catalogue shows same part# for turbo and non, gotta look up an avenger
