For the TPS sensor it should be the red and brown wire, but not sure about the MAP sensor. The 400 really doesn't help out at all with performance. I hope you didn't spend more than 50 bucks on it.

I agree. I was going to buy one a few years back until I searched on here and read how everyone says it's just a little black box with a light in it. You should have just gone to radio shack and bought a 20 cent resistor to put in your intake manifold. It basically would have done the same as the venom module.

Think of it as paying double the going rate for one of those shady, Ebay "power chips" which, coincidentally enough, don't do a goddamned thing either. The Venom 400 box is simply one of the prettiest frauds on Ebay. You'll see more power putting your air filter in the freezer over night.

Great, I can just see a bunch of the newer members all trying to freeze their air filters every night.

Damnit quit making it sound so worthless, I'll never sell mine!!

Yeah... I bought one a few years ago when I was first beginning to mod my Talon. Back then I knew little about these cars, and did little research. Just jumped in and bought a cold air and Venom 400. I soon realized that there was absolutely no noticeable performance gains between when I had it turned on verses when I left it turned off. I've had it off my car ever since and want to sell it to get rid of it.

Anyone willing to go against what everyone here has said and buy it?? I'll let it go cheap!

LOL. Funny how the guy never responded. He must be at home laying in a fetal position rocking back and fourth to comfort himself of the $200 bucks he probably got ripped off.

Maybe he hit his head against a wall so hard that he fell into a coma?

Who knows. I'd be pretty pissed if i paid any amount for something like that. A box that lights up..... I guess ricer A would buy that to show it off to ricer B. You wouldn't believe how many people think a chip adds 50hp to their cars. I hear it all the time. I ask "did you read that on the box or did you do a baseline on a dyno with and then without it?" Usually, the subject changes right there or they make themselves look like a bigger ass trying to bullshit how they beat so and so car because it was installed. Now when it turns into an argument where the chip user gets mad, I walk away and try not to laugh.

Venom sure snakes the fuck out of people with that thing. People see the "venom" name and automatically think "damn, thats going to make my car so fast."

I almost died laughing when my stepdad paid $500 to have a jet chip installed on his 5.0 mustang years ago. He could have spent that on some nice heads or put it towards a supercharger...... W/e.
