Hope someone here can help me out. In my 97' 5spd, the car wouldn't start and I noticed the fuel pump wasn't kicking on. I replaced the pump and strainer, and it started right up. Then, today(the following day), I drove it about 12miles, parked the vehicle, and went to go back out, and the fuel pump isn't kicking on once again, disabling my car from starting. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I agree with this guy. Do you notice that it happens more when the temperature is really hot outside? If yes, than it's definately the relay. I had a similar problem with my honda and resoldered the connections on the fuel pump relay and never had a problem with it again. I also drilled some holes on the top of the case where the relay was housed in order to let it get some air.
