Hey, today i decided to paint the valve cover to match the car, sence the black was starting to beal, the guy i bought the car from said he got a new gasket and ive only have the car for about a month. I got it all painted and when i went to put it back on the car, the gasket seemed like it had stretched, and now i cant fit it back on. It will go into the grove in the valve cover, but falls out when i try to put it back on the car. I would just go get a new one but everywhere is closed, and i have to work at 7 tomorow morning, so i cant wait until tomorow. Im thinking about maby using silicone to hold it in place, or something else to hold it while i put it on.
Thank you mobil one for rust proofing my driveway.

I hit mine up with grey rtv sealant to get it to stick.
It'd be a bitch to do otherwise. I recomend you put a thin layer or a few dabs on your spark plug well gaskets too because you dont want those getting run through your valvetrain. You dont usually need it on those but i did it for peace of mind. You can strain yourself trying to lay the cover and watch the gaskets if you want though.
Goodnight sweetheart...yes its time to go...bum bum bum bum bum...good night sweetheart yes I am one little a$$hole......bum bum bum bum....

Well i had sconed everything up, had everything in and bolted up when i looked under the car for a socket and a seen one of the damn spark plug gaskets. So i had to take everything off and now i have to re scone it because its no longer sticky and do it all over again. I think i might have better luck making my bike work to get to work tomorow than my car.
