Alright everyone... i've done my searching and can't find a definate answer for this one. If some don't remember i hydrolocked my engine last year, but i just recently got a bottom end for it. I have good compression, good spark, smell gas on spark, and have pressure in fuel rail. I alsop have power to the fuel pump and just replaced the the CPS. so first question... I have a 95 as stated below, and just need to know how to wire up the damn harness thing for the CPS cuz i searched here and all i found was someone telling me what the colors on the car were..
which leads me to the second thing... it turns over and doesn't fire. tried jumpin it and cranking it for like 20 seconds. I'm seriously stumped... so please help, you guys have been great for me and looks like i'm back in it. So, thanks in advance...
... Sorry bout being such a long winded putz

If you air, fuel, compression, and spark, then you should be running.
If you have air, fuel, and spark, then your compression (timing or cam) is off.
If you have air, spark and compression, then you've got fuel issues.
If you have air, fuel, and compression, then you've got ignition issues.
If the CMP or CAS doesn't send the right signal (alternating 5VDC while cranking) to the ECU, the ASD relay will trip and the engine won't light off. You should get a CEL if either of those sensors are incorrectly connected, imo.
You smell gas, but how long was the car down, again? What did you do with those injectors all that time? If you're getting fuel and spark, the plugs should be dry.
Good luck. Don't know what to tell you. It's been a long day and I'm beat...

ok... maybe i was a little confusing and long winded, just tryin to be detailed, ya know? I actually took the spark plug out and smelled gas on the spark plug (just to see if some gas is getting in the cylinder).
I think it might have something to do with the CPS tho... i just wish they had a better wiring diagram for it or just could use the factory plug still... oh well.
Oh, and which relay is the fuel? i have an AT so i have 4 relays lined up there and can never remember which one is which... thanks again.

update... I've changed relays and tried both ways of hooking up the CPS. (switching only wires 1 and 3) still just turns over and over with no avail. even took the cam sensor off and checked it.
Sorry i keep adding to this and trying to bump it, but i always hate sending my car to the shop. Thanks in advance again everyone...
