#11836, "Air Fuel Readings.... Say huh?"

I hit a hot wire to the wrong wire and fried that new o2 sensor i was installing, so i ordered another one and just installed it. I am getting a reading using my obd2 software, but my air/fuel gauge is reading lean... i dont have the instructions on how this gauge works, but its an autometer led ultra-lite gauge, it has a power, ground, and signal wire. I have the power ran, the ground grounded, and the signal is running to the grey signal wire on the 02 sensor... but it reads lean as it can... any ideas?

if that wire connects to a white whire with a black stripe after the connector, then that is the right wire and you are probably running lean (if you are, you will get an error code saying you are running lean emoji)

bring it on............

Yes, but I dont have a light bulb in the CEL emoji so no mo light emoji but i am not getting any codes form my 0bd-2 saying its running lean, just the gauge reading lean... when the key is on, the gauge doesnt sweep back and forth like it used to, but if the car is started it reads lean.. always, even if i'm backfiring... maby the guage is fried... damn, i had to get the egt fixed, the fuel pressure replaced, and now this damn air/fuel....

Why did you have to get the EGR fixed (put it back on I assume)?
