Well since I'm due for a flush/fill, oil change and sparkplug change. Also my valveCover gasket is dyer need of change. I Figured I degrease my engine and do the rest since I have 3 days off from work, sux but what the hell.
First, I removed my Battery/brackets sprayed the battery brackets with Rustoleum the color is carbon gray metallic looks very clean, sweet too. I noticed years of dirt build up underneath the battery Damn. Next I took out my Advanceauto Engine degraeser tall 10z. can sprayed whole engine compartment down. I was very cautious around the relays fuse box ECU Took out my rags and scrubbed her down Anywhere I reach. I didn't remove any parts but I'm thinking about it next time. My bay could use a Repaint job, thats later.
After I wiped the engine sides along the firewall, valvecover/underneath it. I respryaed everything again and I let her set over night. In the morning I hosed her off using lowest settingh on the nozzle. W@@W it was dirty and she's happy its all clean now.
Third I took out my Brake Cleaner and sprayed underneath the valvecover and also my Intake Man. Holy shit this Intake was black like the valvecover, now it looks alot better and the Throttle body.
I wiped off all major water i could see Lastly I hooked up my battery and fired her up. I see smoke coming from the headers so Think this is Normal due to the water. My fans kicked on after ten mins. somke gone now yay,
Will add my engine bay pics before and after How it looks now.
Next job Valvecvr gasket and sparkplugs Oil change too Als my radiator flush almost forgot about this.

Nope my driveway is gravel, is sucked it all up except for a small hand full dirt/moss I pul off my tranny, it was build up over the years. My gravel driveway kills my knees though plus I work out doors. Hopefully it'll change next year or so.

Wasn't sure if it was posted and didn't if I could use this section. I realize this should be put in the ineterior/engine section.
Just let some of ya's know and if could get any tips: on what else to use besides engine degreaser, SImple GREEN or Brake Cleaner.
The brake cleaner done wonders for my intake not bad for only a buck at dollar general, price of tall 1oz. can of brake cleaner. Its cheap but works for on a budget.
