The speedometer of my Talon ESI A/T was not working at all. Therefore, I rewired the White Yellow wire from the Output Speed Sensor from the transmission to the Yellow White wire on the hardness behind the cluster. The speedometer now works but it is not accurate. While the car is runing in without giving gas on the pedal, the speedometer shows that it is runing in 80 KM/H. the speedometer points at 220KM/H while it is actually just running less than 20. Do you guys have any idea of whats happen in my car, thank you so much!!

Did you do anything to the rpm/mph cluster? Like adding any kind of lighting to the gauge where you had to take off your needles? Also did you do a voltage test on the speed sensor on the tranny to make sure it's working properly? I don't see why you would ever have to rewire something that worked fine before...enlighten us.

Auto's use the signal from the TCU, not the signal from the output speed sensor.

i found the TCU pinouts and i rewired the Vehicle Speed Signal to the Cluster, but the speedometer is still not working. I think the Output speed sensor is alright since i got signal from it last time when i connected it the Cluster. What could be wrong causing no signal to the speedometer?
