ok i took 3 pics but something happend to the disc and wouldnt let me open the others

carquest told me all i needed was in thier kit.. so i got it.. then i was thinking they gave me 7 of these

what are they?
i thought they were the spark plug grommets


so i went to napa and go 4 spark plug tube seals.. they are like someone said about 2" in dia.. so i got 4 of them

so what do these lil rubber things do..

those ruber grommets go where the valve cover bolts go. pull the old ones out of the valve cover when u pull the bolts off, and replace em with the new ones

thats what i figured..thanks theres 7.. and 8 bolts to take out..so i guesss on of them doesnt need it..

stupid car quest was like yea the spark plug gromets are in the bag.. could have just payed 25 for the whole kit.. i mean i payed about 23or more so its not to bad

Do you still have the GASKET SET part number??? Also, what brand is the Valve Cover gasket set.

DAMN! I got mine for like 12 something at NAPA. Valve cover gasket and the spark plug grommets.

well according to kragen, felpro discontinued their gasket set. I haven't looked in my #1 cylinder spark plug hole but the last time it was filled with oil. I need that part number and the whole shabang so I can order it. If worse comes to worse maybe someone can get it for me, I'll pay for everything and a big mac or something. I gotta check to see if there is still oil leaking into the plug. I tightened the bolts down and hoped that fixed the problem for the time being

dang all the local parts houses around here were sold out or out of stock when i needed them. i got raped in the a$$ for $45 total ($25 for gasket, then later had to get grommets and they were $5 a PIECE!) for my gasket set and grommets at SATAN. doh.

i paid like $15 for gommets and valve cover gasket at a dodge dealership, just tell them thats what you need, i never say the part mnuber
