Hey guys I was reading around on dsmtalk and saw some discussion about this little device at http://www.electricsupercharger.com and I was wondering what you thought of it. The dynos show that it gives 5+ hp over a wide range of RPMs which seems to be not too bad... I am thinking of upgrading to turbo this summer so if I bought this thing would it become useless? Or is it useless from the start haha. Let me know what you all think! Thanks!!

Ben

I'm seriously contemplating getting the tornado even though I know people say it doesn't work. There's a 30 day money back guarantee. And the philosophy of air entering easier with the tornado makes sense. It's kind of like how if you are in a room, and you have one window open, once you open a door, a gush of air comes through. Maybe it actually works and we're all just too skeptical? Does anyone have one actually? This goes against my normal thinking of not believing any infomercials, but the tornado one got me curious hehe.

well marcus go to speedoptions and ask that.. oh man will they yell at you... i think its asked once a week..

but to tell u the truth.. i too read all into them. i was like hmm.. but i dont trust written adds.. i go to the public.. the real public..

they said on a stock engine it will help some..
but a modified one then no.. u can prob make your own.. but figure what if it got sucked into ur TB?? thats wouldnt be good..

and i think them jimmys with the vortech they have something in them that swirls the air.. they also have these plastic things for trucks now..

since mini trucks are big down here i see them lots.. supposed to add 15 hp.. rightt

well i got a extra hairdryer if you guys wanna make a elec supercharger..

For $300 you could make your own electric supercharger and have it actually be worth something. An electric leafblower motor and some tubing, and a speed sensing switch and it could work, plus it would be good for your low end and let the new turbo do the high end.
