So I'm trying to take off my B&M, as the car is going back to stock to sell. I get the actual shift lever off fine, however, the blue/purple pivot piece will not come off. Yes, the nut on the side has been removed. I'm just confused as to why it will not slide off of the "spindle" it sits on. Any suggestions? I've been tapping it with a hammer and have tried spraying some PB to loosen it up, but no dice.
