car (98 420a) starting running hot, realized my top radiator hose was cracked, repalced it and refilled the car w/ coolant. noticed the fluid running (by lookign under the car) out from somewhere behind the motor. also, when i rev the motor by hand cool sprays up from somewheres under myintake ram. probably back driverside area of the motor

It sounds like a busted hose to me. I would suggest to check all your coolant hoses and replace any that may be worn. And checking your vacuum lines while your at it wouldn't hurt either. How many miles are on it?

bout 150k
i was hoping it was just a hose. my dad said it might be a freeze out plug because the coolant ran so low.
slight problem, someone decided to flill th emotor with mostly water when checkign for leaks, what water thats left in the radiator, hoses, or resivior is prob solid now.

heater core is under the passenger dash, like a lot of late-model cars. Problem sounds like that heater hose, there's two that run along the rh side of engine back to firewall. It's probably not a freeze plug, as you'd absolutely know if it was - it'd be puking out.

In the dash, but that doesn't matter. The rubber hoses run from the end of the hardline that goes from the waterneck across the head from passenger side to driver's side. Remove your intake and look down, you'll see it.
