well i was thinkering with the top end and was torqing down my cps sensor bolts under the valve cover and i can only torque them to about 10 ft lbs so i soaked them with thread locker and crossed my fingers so my question is will this be ok?

I ended up doing the same thing on my CPS. Ended up having to re-dye the holes to a size larger bolt. You might be able to get by with that for a little while, but I would still re-dye the holes so you get a snug fit.

I'd either re-tap them or buy some inserts, but it's less complicated to just tap them a size up.

10 ft/lbs sounds like way too much...are you sure you didnt misread and you should be torquing to 10 in/lbs? The actual sensor doesnt need to be that tight.
