#116752, "Lash Adjusters and rocker arms"

Can they be installed with the cams already installed?? I had a guy do a headgasket job and he ended up having to rush back to school with the job not being finished. so I noticed the lash adjusters and rocker arms werent installed and so I get to go through and clean up what he hasnt finished. so can these be installed with the cams in? Thanks in advance for any help.

No, they are located under the camshafts. The cams must be removed.

Well I guess I'm in for a saturday of work going to my parts car and pulling the cams and shit out being as the guy lost my lash adjusters. Do the matter what order they (lash adjusters) go in?

No, but you want to keep the rockers inn the same place they were.

For what its worth, if you try hard enough and haver a bit of finesse, with two screwdrivers, you can remove and reinstall lash adjusters and rockers with the cams in.
