I've heard some people talk about punching their cat. What all is involved in doing this? I know that it is illegal...but no big deal. Cops know nothing about cars in TN. What kind of a performance gains could be expected? How much does it cost to do.....any parts that i might need...and what tools are needed to do it? One last thing, what are the negative effects of doing this?

Anyway your exhaust will get louder and you probably wont notice any difference. I dont think its worth it unless you are turbo'd.

my boy has a GS.. and he put on a diff cat i think or what not.. and it sounded bad. this guy that lives near me has kn filter some muffler and i think no cat or punched..and it sounds really rasphy.. hes like how come urs is so deep..
