I need some help and ideas on what to use and design ideas. Hayame seems the only one making one out there. Help!

hmmmm...it is a mitsu motor. would a 1gen intake fit? maybe the cyclone?

I do not know. All the intake plumbing comes out the left side instead of the right, what does the 1g setup look like.

dude, you need to do some research.....oh wait i guess you are. try asking a mitsu dealer if they have an intake for a 1gen and a 2.4 spyder sittting in the back that you can compare....or maybe intake mani gaskets.

Maybe there are some 1g people on the forum with pictures of engine bay, that would give me a good idea.

I've seen the 2.4 spyder engine. The intake is on the left. Try some Hunduh intake system. They might fit.

Sure lots of people have made their own intakes but that because most people here have 2.0 420a's. Actually the only person I can remember who was playing around with the 2.4L was Skrilla and no one has seen his ass in a long time.

Niiice engine bay Douglas. All the graphics are gone on the PVC cold air intake page, but I have an idea. I guess the 420a does not use a Mass air sensor either. I have made an intake for my Dodge 4.7l V8, but it was straight forward and no sensors just a PCV intake to add. The good part is I still have left over parts, and Home Depot is just around the corner.

What I would do is get some exhaust piping with mandral bends is whatever size you need and then have a muffler shop or any shop weld them together at the angles you want and put a K&N cone on the end of it.

I can use ABS piping to make an intake, I guess after I have it made I could go to a shop and have them then bend 3" Stainless to what I made, and then have it polished, it would cost a little though.
