#11538, "Squeal until clutch pedal pushed in?"

As some of you know, I just completed a motor swap due to spun rod bearing. After fixing a few small problems, my car is once again up and running. I have a squeal that is making me a little nervous though. It isn't a belt squeal I don't think. It happens at all times unless the clutch pedal is pushed in. I am still running the same clutch from the old motor. Is there something I need to adjust? Will a clutch change fix this? My guess is that it's something to do with the clutch "breaking-in" to the old motor and not sitting right with the new motor. Any ideas?

Thanks for all the help guys! My car would still be sitting in my garage without all the help!

Clint

Does it stop after it warms up? And did it do it before your engine swap when it was cold? I spun my bearings and got them fixed about a month ago and now it is grinding/squeaking/whatever u wanna call it. Sounds like its coming from the tranny. Alot of us seem to have this problem.

Never goes away unless clutch pedal is depressed. It is only loud enough to hear from inside the car if the radio is off. You having the same problem eh? I can live with a small squeal, but it just makes me a little nervous.

Same thing happens to me but only when cold. Also my RPMS stay at over 1.1K when it squeals. I started noticing this after I had my new clutch installed. What is the explanation for this?
