ok guys i have a 1997 eagle talon esi and i have recently changed the manual transmission and outer tie rod ends on my rack i have gone over all my motor and transmission mounts to make sure all was tight and i also changed the drivers side axel and for some odd reason i still get a poping sound on hard acceleration and deceleration any ideas i need some help thanks?

I get the same thing, does it sound like a metal popping sound? If so I get the same thing and I havent been able to figure it out. The car still runs good so I quit replacing stuff trying to fix it.

yeah its loud it also sometimes makes the noise as i start up the car i think i got it narrowed down to the rear transmission mount being weak and letting the engine rock back against the mount plate itself at least thats what i'm hopping anyway lol i'll keep yall posted.

That's usually what it is. The bracket will pull loose from the trans, or the mount rubber will tear. The diff housing, in that case, will hit the K-member.
