I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that contributes to this site. I replaced the timing belt on my '95 RS two weeks ago. I am convinced that it would have been alot bigger pain if not for all the information i found here. I studied everything from what belts to use, to the pros and cons of the mechanical tensioner ( which i did buy and install) as well as what parts to replace( i bought a water pump because you guys recommended it, and that is what was shot in my car). I don't know what guys did before the internet, but it sure saved my bacon. You guys probably deserve a group hug, but i dont want to offend anyone! So thanks a million. Give yourselves a pat on the back. It was time consuming but not too tough. I love this car and it runs great now. Jim

Good first post. Thank you for reading and using the search. Obviously it helped you greatly as it has for many of us in the past. You also get a nice sense of accomplishment when you can do something like this yourself.
