well i replaced my pcv valve a few months ago then today i did a boost leak test and found i was losing boost through the pvc so i took it off completely, then blocked the valve cover where the pvc hooked up and hooked up my bov to the intake mani, now my oil catch can has a little bit of smoke coming out of it same as the oil filler cap when i remove it,is this normal since the pvc is missing? or is it somthing serious i never noticed before(ive been running with no hood today)but this is whats really worring me,I accidently ran 9 psi the other day beause the wastegate line cracked but I noticed it right away so i boosted 9 psi for about4 seconds.plz tell me i didnt crack a landing or somthin,my car is tuned for 5 psi but i got a 12-1 fmu im hoping delivered enough fuel for that 4 seconds and its just the pvc being gone causing this,...other then that the cars running better then ever.

With no crackcase ventilation, you're going to see oil vapor coming from your catchcan. Normally, engine vacuum will pull it into the manifold and burn it off.
