#114924, "HVAC/Blower not working"

So here's the story behind the problem:

I had an idiot moment a couple weeks ago when I was picking my car up from an alignment. My battery was dead (I think my door wasn't fully shut after they test drove it) and I went to jump my car. Hooked the cables up to my car, grounded the negative to the frame of the other car...but in my hurry to get home and switch out a steering knuckle (another story) I accidentally hooked the positive cable up to the negative terminal of the other guy's battery. Call me a douche, I fully deserve it.

It blew a ton of fuses including the 120A alternator fuse, so there was a good amount of current going through my system. My entire HVAC stopped working...the fan doesn't come on, the A/C light doesn't come on when I push the button...all the controls are unresponsive. I paid the shop to do an electrical diagnostic and they told me my auto compressor ECM was shot. I went to a junkyard and picked up what I thought was the compressor ECM according to my Haynes manual (it was in a black box under the blower, slightly behind and below the glove box) but replacing that did nothing.

So I need some advice here. Either (a) I picked up the wrong part from the junkyard or (b) the shop misdiagnosed my problem and it's something completely different. Anyone have insight on what might be going on?
