Son blew the seal in the slave cylinder of his Eclipse. When he attempted to replace the seal, he said the piston shot out of the cylinder and the pivot arm for the clutch release bearing became locked in place. I haven't checked it myself yet, but wondered if this sort of thing has happened to anyone else. What might have caused this and what do we need to do to fix it. I'm thinking just get a rebuild kit, knock the arm free and try it before doing anythng else. I would hate to have to pull the tranny, since the clutch is good. Always something fun to do with this car.
