#114747, "Slave cylinder line"

First, thank all of you that helped me get my 98 Gs back up and going. But I have a problem with my 95 Gs, it lost clutch pedal pressure yesterday while my girl was driving it home from work, and then she continued to drive it home. Starting it in first and shifting without the clutch(luckly not awhole lot of lights on the trail). I checked it out and found a leak at the slave cylinder, but its not the slave cylinder, its the line going to it. I just had a tranny put in it and the guys bent the hose to get it out of the way, and it must have been leaking the whole time since. I found this #20464A, in the CAPS area of this site but no one knows what that number is for, it doesnt come up anywhere else. Does anyone know what the dealer # is so I can call around and find it before monday? ( I don't want her taking my 98 to work, it breaks everytime she does, I dont think the car likes her at all!) Thank you again for your help. If you live in the york pa area and have one for sale hit me up Please.. Dspoppa420@hotmail.com Thanks DJ

you can order a braided stainless line from RRE for less then the dealership part.
(RRE =$20, MachV =$24)
fyi order the 1G line as its the same length as ours, and it bolts right on in

If you're not going for the performance SS opiton and you don't mind bending it yourself, you can get your local Advance/Autozone to match up a standard brake/clutch line of approximately the same length for about $2-3. I put one on son's 97RS a year ago after a night time breakdown, when the dealer was not an option. Still on there and no leaks.

Thank for your responses, but I ended up going to the junkyard and getting 2 lines for $5. Thanks again Dj

sorry to bring back a dead thread, but does this SS clutch line replace the hard line from the master to the slave?

AutoZone sold me a cheap flare tool for $20. It probably won't last under moderate use, but seemed find doing my hard line.

As far as master cylinder to the slave, I got mine at a junkyard.
