i didnt change the bracket, i just removed the pulley off of it and just replaced it. The bracket looked fine so i didnt see the point on replacing it. Satan said i couldnt do it... but i did anyways.

Yeah look at the pic, the idler pulley and the tensioner pulley/bracket are the same pulleys. Satan list price was 46.08 for the idler pulley, so just get 2 of em...

Hey Kriot, ur from Cali if I remember correctly ryt? Anyway, if ur done with the 60K thing, would you tell me how much it cost u? I got raped. I even didn't do it at Satan, but still ended up paying too much. Did it at an Arco dealer. First it was 130, but things kept adding up. Thanks for the info.

hey sonic,
the best estimate i've got so far is $300 and i'm guessing it may end up bieng around 400 total. it seems like labor is more expensive up here than in socal. most estimates i've got are from 485 to 800! so things arent looking too good. plus i've got all the parts, water pump, udp, timing belt, tensioner pulley, some places dont want to work on a car if you bring in your own parts, they say its because if something breaks they cant guarentee if it was the part or the labor, personally i think its because they want to over charge for parts. but anyways most every seems too aggree its a 3.5 to 4.5 hour job.

I don't think the labor will be that much of a difference. Anyways, I paid 995 parts and labor. I think it was around 600 for the parts and 300 something for labor. Plus tax, it became a thousand. Good luck with the prices that u get...

Damn, that's a lot of money. I replaced my timing belt and one tensioner pulley at 45k. I don't think I'll do any of that maintenance when I hit 60k. I'll just do a tranny fluid change, oil change, and anything else important?
