Hey everyone,
Sheww my car is such a mess...
I hope someone has had this problem and may be able to help me....I put a rebuilt engine I got from a shop in my car but now when I give it gas it wont go anywhere until it reaches about 2,000 RPM and even then it just creeps along.

I dont know if im explaning that right or if this is the right forum to post this, but thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Is it auto or man?
Does the engine make any unusual noise?
Smoke from exhaust?

Its an Auto....on the old engine the turbo wasnt working right and now on the newer engine is having the same problems but now it seams to be having transmission trouble.

Could be stuck in limp mode. CEL on? What are the codes?

Year? Model? What happens before 2000rpm? Stutter? Popping? Shaking? Go-go dancers with tassels on they ta-tas? (Which actually happened once back in 96 due to a really fucked up ECU on a 95.)

Hey guys, well my step dad told me it was fix but it wasnt...
So I turn back to the pros.

"DarkOne" I am still learning about my car, and Im sorry for asking but what do you mean when you ask is the CEL on and what are the codes?

"DR1665" my car is a 1999 GS 420a eclipse, and when I first touch the gas the car dosnt want to go but as i push harder on the gas and it revs up to about 2000 RPM the car kicks really hard into gear and gose but it stutters at first.........I noticed that if I let the car warm up for about 30 min or so then it works fine.

It is low on fluid, the silnoid is bad, the convertor is bad or the pump is bad. All will show with a code reader.

Check the fluid, as the car warms up the fluid thins out because it is getting warm too. Giving the illusion of more fluid.

codes are when your check engine light iss on and your ecu has codes of what is wrong and you need to pull them with a scanning tool.

Car Status: P0140 o2 circuit number bank 1 sensor 2 Cel. Ill fix it tomorow lol.

Estimated mileage on engine: 15,xxx

Does the car bog down before 2500rpms? then run fairly smoothly after passing the rpm range?

Im thinking skipped a tooth on the timing belt. He did say it was a rebuilt engine. Maybe timing is off...
