I have found a motor for my 95 2gnt. It is a 98 dohc dodge neon motor with about 1500 miles on the rebuilt motor. It was in a dodge neon and had a turbo on it. It has wiesco 8.8:1 pistons and eagle h-beam rods. It is bored .030. and the engine is complete except for cams and followers. I know I will have to do a few minor changes to make it work with the 2gnt. I am wanting to get to about 300HP to 350HP out of it. Would this make a good engine for my 2gnt?

Bottom end will work fine, so if you bought it, and put a 2gnt head on, you will be fine.

1) You will need to get your exhaust custom made as the exhaust will now exit the back of the head.

2) You will have to reroute various cooling items to get the front intake to work.

3) Some other stuff I dont feel like going into right now.

P.S. you would probably have to have the front crossmember cut up and boxed to be able to clear any kind of decent flowing exhaust.
