Right now my base is ~40psi at full vacuum (19inHG) with no way to chage it. Is this too high for the 625's and DFI using the HRC supplied base fuel map?

Nope that is perfect, should rise on a 1:1 ratio.

That is the cool part of using the DFI with the large injectors. You get to run a stock fuel pressure at idle with only a 1:1 rising rate. It takes all the mechanical adjustments out of the equation and allows you full control of your fuel through the DFI.

Yeah, now we just need knowledgable people to help get our DFI's tuned just right so we can take better advantage of them, without blowning them up too, hehe.

I'll be going to a shop near me that suppusedly has a lot of DFI experience for some dyno tuning. I'll let everyone know how it works out, and what kind of secrets I can learn.

Please do.

Has anyone priced a Gen 7 yet? The interface looked AWESOME from what i saw with Len Ayala's HRC Neon.

When I talked to Len the last time on the phone he had me sold on it in about 30 seconds.

last time I was looking at prices it was ~1500. Hopefully we can use the sensors off the gen 6 so we dont have to remount all that crap.

>without blowning them up too

The car or the DFI? cause Ive got the DFI thing down

My base fuel pressure is also about 40 PSI. You can try to lower the fuel delivery with Calmap or a Powertuner.

Most injectors will give the best pattern from 43 psi up to about 70
i wouldnt advise running less than that for good atomization.
