#113364, "Tuning air/fuel ratio"

I've been tuning my Accel DFI all weekend and I got the engine running super strong and smooth but I'd like to discuss tuning the air/fuel ratios of this engine at different loads and conditions on the street.

At idle, I'm running about 10.5-11:1. If I lean it out more than that, the idle surges. I'm thinking that 11:1 is the right AFR for this engine to idle. What are you guys idling at?

During cruise/slight acceleration in vaccum, I'm jumping around between 11:1 and 12:1. I think I can lean it out here closer to 13.7-14:1.

During WOT acceleration/spoolup, I'm in the 10.5-11.5:1 range. I think this should be fine-tuned to 11-12:1.

During WOT boost, I'm steady between 11-11.5:1. This I KNOW is right. It's everything less than WOT that I'm interested in.

So, what do you guys know? What is working for you? Have any graphs? I'm getting extremely low fuel mileage because of the 720cc injectors and I'm trying to learn how to get a perfect street tune. Let's discuss.

I'd reccomend that your target AFR should be around 14.7:1 in vacuum, probably around 12.5:1 at static, and around 11.5-11.0:1 as you approach your peak boost level. This would yeild the best fuel economy while holding on to support for lots of airflow.
