I'm going with the pictures on stockums site per your guidance. I'm still waiting on my standard abrasives kit to get here though. emoji

all id like to see is some flow numbers, i dont think fiero or any of those guys post them...so its useless as far as im concerned. it might look pretty and all that, and make power....but its not proven to be exact unless its benched.

once i get the head flowbenched here, and get some numbers for certain valve lifts, you can digitize it...then clone all day

check your e-mail anyway i sent you somethin

edit: standard abrasives has a good little porting handbook thing, i have it...i'll let you take a look, its pretty good but nothing you dont already know. and also that book i gave you shows some seriously badass honda heads that show what works. i dont think our heads are anything special compared to anything else as far as porting and flow goes.

you're a crazy good porting master though man, as far as the port design you have it down i think. you need to work your way into the combustion chambers and you'll be golden.

thanks for the kudos homes. i was just looking to see if anybody else had some decent info or pics that i hadn't already seen on our port design and modification. the more you know the better in my opinion. plus, if this info was all compiled into one thread i believe it may help someone else down the line. this is the point of this site, yeah??

off topic: roll through on sat morning... gotta get the beast running fo' sho'!!! and make me some vr 4 brackets, i may have some calipers on the way.

yo chris, the good news is i just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to AAA

the bad news is, the vr4 brakes fit with the stock 12.5" rotor, but in all honesty we're going to want something larger. its a tight fit, and either the knuckle or the caliper has to be shaved about 1/4 inch to get the pads to sit all the way on.

i forgot who sells willwood their rotors, i have them in my notes...but ill look into something larger like at least a 13.5 and we'll be good to go

edit: unless you want to machine me a whole knuckle, thatd be cool too
