for those of you running the dsm link cable for the 2g, will it work if i go rs232 to USB? or does the cable connecting from the dsm link have to be rs232-rs232? thanx in advance.

i called them, they said it does not work with 2gnt cars.

nope, dsmlink is only for 4g63's

There is no form of dsm link available for our cars as many of us already know... If you use a decent priced adapter it will work. I have DSM link on my 1G tsi awd and use a belkin serial to usb adapter without a prob, your just gonna have to set up your com ports correctly depending on wich version of windows you have.
